Relationship Manager – SME Banking

About the role

As a Relationship Manager for the SME segment, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small‑to‑medium enterprise customers introduced by Premium Brokers. You will grow the portfolio through acquisition, increased share‑of‑wallet and referrals while delivering tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act in the best interest of customers, applying a customer‑centric approach.
• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of each client’s business and financial needs.
• Provide appropriate banking solutions and increase share‑of‑wallet.
• Maintain strong relationships with Premium Brokers and other external partners.
• Build internal and external networks to support deal design and execution.
• Structure and negotiate deals together with product and specialist teams.
• Manage the SME portfolio, collaborating with product partners and stakeholders.
• Adhere to operational rhythms and ensure credit and operational risks are managed proactively.
• Apply Relationship Credit Approval Discretion where appropriate.

Required profile

• Proven relationship‑management experience with SME clients.
• Strong business‑development capabilities, able to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
• Ability to understand customer needs and deliver suitable solutions.
