Rehabilitation Consultant (OT, EP, Physio, Osteo, SW, Counsellor)

About the role

Support people to rebuild confidence, independence and hope as they recover from injury or illness. You will walk alongside clients, helping them navigate recovery, return to work and reconnect with what matters most.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients’ rehabilitation needs – physical, ergonomic, psychosocial or functional capacity evaluations.
• Support clients to define recovery or employment goals and co‑design tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Manage cases end‑to‑end, coordinating with workplaces, healthcare providers or insurers, monitoring progress and adjusting plans.
• Provide expert advice on ergonomics, workplace modification, functional capacity or return‑to‑work based on clinical specialism.
• Build relationships with clients, treating practitioners, employers and insurers to achieve shared recovery goals.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy, physiotherapy or exercise physiology.
• Registration with AHPRA or ESSA as an EP.
• Pass a national criminal check and hold a current Working with Children Check.
• Full Australian working rights and a driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work in varied settings (workplaces, client homes, remote assessments).
• Collaborative, problem‑solving mindset with strong communication and empathy.
