Registered Nurse – Rural & Remote (Emergency, Mental Health, Aged Care)

About the role

Deliver high-quality nursing care across diverse rural clinical settings in Central Queensland. Lead clinical responses and patient management in high‑autonomy environments while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in emergency, mental health or aged‑care settings across rural facilities.
• Lead clinical responses and manage patients independently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with AHPRA standards.
• Build strong relationships with local communities through compassionate care.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant clinical experience in Emergency, Mental Health or Aged Care.
• Ability to work autonomously in remote environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and commitment to care, integrity and excellence.
• Passion for serving rural and remote communities.

• Total remuneration up to AUD 124,741 per annum (hourly rates $42.98‑$55.13 or $53.73‑$68.92 with 25% casual loading).
