Recruitment Consultant – High‑Volume Blue‑Collar Talent Specialist

About the role

Freo Group is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to lead high‑volume blue‑collar talent acquisition for its mining, resources, infrastructure and energy clients. You will proactively build talent pipelines, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates for critical roles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain continuous, ahead‑of‑demand talent pipelines for supervisors, crane operators, riggers, and truck drivers.
• Source candidates through advertising, referrals, past workforce networks and targeted searches.
• Screen and verify candidates before handing them to admin for medicals and VOC processing.
• Collaborate with the Mobilisation Manager and stakeholders to align talent supply with project demands.
• Maintain a strong, active pipeline to support shutdowns, projects and contingent labour needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑volume blue‑collar recruitment.
• Background supporting shutdowns, projects or contingent labour is highly regarded.
• Strong sourcing capability across multiple channels.
• Ownership‑driven mindset with accountability for outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in crane operations or heavy‑lift environments is desirable.
