Quarry Operator – Permanent Role

About the role

Holcim is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Operator with proven experience in face loader and excavator operations, preferably within quarrying, mining or similar environments. Safety is a core value and the role involves daily pre‑start inspections of plant and equipment to ensure a consistent and safe operation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre‑start inspections on various HME plant and equipment, identify faults and ensure they are reported and rectified.
• Operate face loaders, excavators (over 30 tonne), dump trucks, watercarts and complex crushing/blending plant, performing basic maintenance as required.

Required profile

• Valid Australian work rights with no restrictions on employment duration or hours.
• Safety‑focused, flexible and willing to work across all facets of quarry activities, including overtime.

Required skills

• Face Loader operation (e.g., Cat 988, Komatsu WA 600, Volvo L350).
• Excavator operation (machines over 30 tonne).
• Front‑end loader operation.
• Dump truck operation.
• Watercart operation.
• Crushing and blending plant operation and basic maintenance.
• Quarry plant maintenance.
