Public Area Attendant

About the role

Pullman East Melbourne, a 419-room hotel near Fitzroy Gardens and the MCG, is hiring a Public Area Attendant to join its internal Housekeeping team. You will help keep the hotel clean, welcoming and well presented, working safely and efficiently with cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the hotel.
• Keep change rooms, locker rooms, washrooms and team areas clean and welcoming.
• Use cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies correctly and minimise waste.
• Support Housekeeping with linen and delivery runs, rollaway beds, cots and moving supplies.
• Work closely with other departments and assist the wider team when needed.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a service-focused attitude.
• Reliable, energetic and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Flexible availability across a variety of shifts.
