Project Manager – Business & Technology Projects

About the role

Join Mazda Australia’s Project Delivery team to lead end‑to‑end business and technology initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality strategic outcomes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver business projects and system enhancements according to agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, providing direction, support, and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Plan and manage project resources, track progress, and report on outcomes and risks.
• Ensure compliance with Mazda Australia IT governance, standards, and frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related discipline.
• Project management certification such as Prince2, PMP, or Agile certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a project management role.
• Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional and non‑functional specifications.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and communication skills.
