Project Director

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Project Director to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex, high‑value metro and regional infrastructure projects in Victoria. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will set project strategy, manage budgets and contracts, and engage with executive and Board‑level stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Set project strategy and translate goals into delivery plans
• Own budgets, forecasts and financial performance
• Manage contracts, procurement and vendor relationships
• Govern risk, benefits realisation and project interdependencies
• Present to Boards, Executive Committees and Steering Groups
• Drive organisational change and technology adoption
• Build and guide cross‑functional, dispersed project teams

Required profile

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification (MBA or Master’s) desirable
• Extensive experience in project, program or portfolio management
• Track record delivering multi‑million‑dollar initiatives
• Experience managing executive and Board‑level stakeholders
