Producer – Longform Video (Taste)

About the role

We are looking for a creative Video Producer to lead Taste’s long‑form YouTube strategy. Working within the Taste content team, you will collaborate with editors, chefs and creators to conceive, shoot and edit narrative‑driven food videos that engage audiences across YouTube and social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Concept, film and edit high‑quality long‑form recipe series, vodcast episodes and culinary feature packages for YouTube.
• Set up and operate multi‑camera rigs, studio/kitchen lighting and audio equipment for both studio and on‑location shoots.
• Produce short‑form edits for TikTok, Reels and Shorts to maximise reach.
• Upload, optimise and publish videos via YouTube Studio and internal CMS, applying best practices for thumbnails, titles, metadata and social distribution.
• Translate food trends and creator talent into visually compelling stories that reinforce the Taste brand.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with camera operation, multi‑camera switching, lighting and audio capture.
• Deep understanding of YouTube mechanics, pacing, thumbnail and title strategy, as well as broader social video trends.
• Proven ability to craft engaging, talent‑led narratives in a long‑form format.
• Experience working with content management systems and video publishing workflows.
• Based in Sydney and able to work on‑site at Holt St.
