Procurement Advisor

About the role

Mott MacDonald’s Defence and Security team in Adelaide is seeking a Procurement Advisor to support the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure procurement activities are compliant, timely, and commercially sound.

Key responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies and plans aligned with project objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end tendering activities, including documentation, clarifications, and evaluation coordination.
• Coordinate tender evaluations, approvals, and ensure accurate procurement documentation.
• Assist with contract preparation, execution, administration, variations, and probity requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and oversee contractor onboarding to meet contractual obligations.
• Support project delivery through procurement scheduling, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience working with multi‑disciplinary teams on project scope delivery.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Foundational understanding of budget and schedule management.
• Current baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain NV1 clearance.
