Process Technician – Mining & Mineral Processing

About the role

MPC Solutions is looking for an experienced Process Technician to join its site‑support team on a full‑time basis. You will operate and maintain specialised equipment across mining and processing sites in Western Australia, helping to improve safety, productivity and plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain MPC Solutions equipment, including vacuum excavation trucks, mini remote‑controlled loaders, pressure washers and bobcats.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting on crushers, mills, CIL, elution circuits, thickeners and related plant assets.
• Report equipment faults immediately to prevent further deterioration.
• Collect and analyse process data to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Maintain clean, hazard‑free sites and support less‑experienced team members.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Process Technician in gold processing plants.
• Strong understanding of mineral processing principles and equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams, P&IDs and other technical documentation.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving, attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Crushers, mills, CIL, elution circuit, thickener, tails handling.
• Remote‑controlled loaders, IT loader, bobcat, vacuum excavation trucks, pressure washer.
• Reading P&IDs and process flow diagrams.

What we offer

• Fly‑in‑fly‑out or DIDO roster options (8/6, 15/13, 2/2).
• Full‑time contract with competitive salary $85,000–$95,000 AUD per year.
