Practice Manager – Accounting Firm

About the role

The firm is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to own day‑to‑day operations and support continued growth. Working closely with partners, you will help improve workflow, performance and efficiency while contributing to strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily practice operations and lead admin/support teams
• Improve systems, workflows and processes
• Manage IT systems, vendor relationships and office facilities
• Handle work‑in‑progress (WIP), billing and debtor cycles
• Support budgeting, reporting and planning activities
• Assist partners with strategic planning and business development
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and team development
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Practice Manager in accounting or professional services
• Strong operations, workflow and process‑improvement capabilities
• Commercial mindset with exposure to WIP and billing
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Organised, proactive and able to work autonomously
