Power Platform Developer – Team Lead

About the role

Join Avanade, part of Accenture, as a Power Platform Developer (Team Lead / Consultant level) based in Auckland, New Zealand. You will design and deliver Power Platform solutions that address real business challenges for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Power Apps solutions (Canvas and Model‑Driven) from functional specifications.
• Build Power Automate flows to automate processes and integrate systems.
• Configure and customise Dataverse environments, including entities, forms, views and security roles.
• Develop and test integrations with Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Apply ALM practices using Azure DevOps and manage environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Support testing activities, including unit testing and defect resolution.
• Produce technical documentation and handover materials.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of professional experience in Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365 development.
• Strong hands‑on development experience with Canvas and Model‑Driven apps.
• Enthusiasm for Microsoft technologies and commitment to quality delivery.
• Ability to work well within a team and grow consulting and technical skills.
