- Work with an experienced evidence synthesis team, guideline developers, clinicians, statisticians, librarians and consumer representatives.
- Publish in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, take part in national and international collaborations and deliver conference presentations.

- Eligibility to enrol in a PhD at Monash University.
- A medical degree or honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant health or biomedical discipline.
- An interest in evidence-based medicine, rheumatology, epidemiology or clinical research.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Previous experience in systematic reviews or guideline development is desirable but not essential.
What we offer
- A three-year fixed-term appointment with a tax-free Research Living Allowance of $41,400 AUD per annum (2027 full-time rate), indexed plus allowances as per RTP scholarship conditions.
- Training in systematic review and meta-analysis, evidence synthesis, GRADE methodology, clinical epidemiology and scientific writing.
- Flexible working arrangements, with much of the research able to be done remotely.
