National Account Manager – Pharmacy (Express of Interest)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing Australian beauty and nutrition brand looking for a commercially‑savvy National Account Manager to lead our pharmacy channel nationwide. You will act as the primary commercial lead, developing and expanding relationships with key pharmacy groups and buying organisations across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow national pharmacy accounts, including banner groups, buying groups and independent pharmacy networks.
• Develop and execute joint business plans aligned with brand and retailer objectives.
• Negotiate ranging, promotional programmes and trading terms to drive category growth.
• Identify new ranging and distribution opportunities within the pharmacy channel.
• Deliver accurate sales forecasting, demand planning and performance reporting.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and category insights to inform commercial strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing to create channel‑specific campaigns and in‑store activations.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with key buyers and pharmacy stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in national account management within the pharmacy channel (beauty, health, nutrition or FMCG).
• Strong understanding of pharmacy retail dynamics, including banner groups, buying group structures and pharmacy‑specific ranging processes.
• Track record of delivering growth through strategic account planning and execution.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercially astute with solid understanding of P&L, trade spend and ROI.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with marketing, supply chain and finance teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales reporting and data analysis tools such as IRI, Nielsen and Power BI.
