Minecraft Builder / Datapack Expert

About the role

Join Spawnpoint Media as a Minecraft Builder and Datapack Expert, creating engaging Minecraft sets for YouTube content aimed at young audiences. You will work closely with the Minecraft Set Designers to bring scripts to life in a virtual, yet film‑friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate script concepts into practical Minecraft builds and interactive datapack elements.
• Create vanilla‑style survival builds that look handcrafted and realistic.
• Use tools such as WorldEdit or Axiom to construct builds efficiently.
• Design gameplay moments, level elements and interactive features using command blocks, redstone and mods.
• Manage deadlines, prioritize tasks and actively participate in creative meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Minecraft building, datapack creation or game level design.
• Strong understanding of Minecraft mechanics, commands and redstone circuitry.
• Ability to receive feedback, meet deadlines and collaborate effectively.

Required skills

• Minecraft (vanilla and modded)
• WorldEdit / Axiom
• Datapacks and command‑block scripting
• Redstone circuitry
• Basic Java coding (bonus)
