Mid-level Surveyor – Brisbane

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a mid‑level Surveyor to join its Geospatial Team in Brisbane. You will work on a variety of engineering projects across Queensland, applying modern surveying techniques and digital tools to deliver high‑quality data.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver topographic and detailed surveys for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct control surveys and capture mobile data.
• Perform laser scanning, imagery capture and UAV operations.
• Manage complex datasets and big‑data workflows.
• Lead and mentor field teams on site.
• Apply digital tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel within Queensland and Australia for project work.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Experience in Australian or New Zealand surveying (preferred).
• Curiosity about automation and AI in surveying.
• Enthusiasm for working across transport, land, water, industrial and aviation sectors.
