Menswear & Unisex Designer

About the role

An exciting opportunity with a fast‑growing Australian retail brand for an experienced designer to own the Menswear and Unisex ranges. You will shape the product from concept through development, fit and final execution, blending commercial appeal with technical performance.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of design and development for Menswear & Unisex collections, translating trends and customer insights into commercial products.
• Create sketches, CADs, technical specifications and oversee sample review, fit, construction and performance.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandising and wider creative teams on colour, graphics, prints and seasonal direction.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute new ideas to evolve the product offering.

Required profile

• Strong experience designing menswear or unisex apparel, preferably with exposure to activewear, sportswear, performance or technical products.
• Demonstrated ability to balance creative vision with commercial thinking across the full product lifecycle.
• Passionate about trends, innovation and the evolving menswear customer.
• Energetic, curious and able to thrive in a fast‑moving brand environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD and creation of technical drawings.
• Expertise in garment specifications, construction, fit and fabrications.
• Knowledge of trims, finishes and performance‑focused materials.
