Manager or Senior Manager - Decision Modelling: AI & Decision Analytics

About the role

EY Parthenon is looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to join its Decision Modelling and Analytics team during a period of strong growth. You will lead and deliver data-driven solutions, AI-enabled analytics and decision support that help clients solve complex business problems and improve operational efficiency. The role works across a wide range of industries and clients, and offers the chance to shape the firm's analytics capability, grow client relationships and support business development. It is a hybrid position based in Warringah, Sydney, with flexibility for candidates elsewhere in Australia or New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver data, analytics and AI-driven solutions for forecasting, risk, operations, pricing, customer and finance use cases.
• Design and implement analytics frameworks, predictive models, scenario tools, simulation models and optimisation solutions.
• Apply AI and automation to improve data processing, analytics and business processes.
• Develop data models and scenario analyses that produce actionable insights and measurable outcomes.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholders through storytelling and data visualisation.
• Use Python and modern analytics tools to build scalable solutions, and work with Azure or other cloud platforms to deploy analytics, data pipelines, dashboards and AI applications.
• Build client relationships as a trusted advisor, collaborate with internal EY teams and lead client workshops.
• Identify reusable solutions and asset-based offerings, support business development, and mentor junior team members while leading project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with around 8 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with around 7 years of related experience.
• Strong background in data analytics, applied AI and decision modelling, with experience in forecasting, scenario analysis, optimisation, risk or business decision models.
• Exposure to financial modelling, valuation or investment analysis is advantageous.
• Proven client engagement and relationship management, and experience leading teams and mentoring.

Required skills

• Python for data analysis, modelling and automation.
• Azure cloud platform and data services; Databricks, Synapse, PySpark or similar is advantageous.
• AI and machine learning applications in business contexts.
• Data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx or Databricks are advantageous.
