Maintenance Supervisor – FIFO Opportunity

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a FIFO position in Weipa. You will lead a skilled team to deliver safe, reliable and efficient maintenance services while reporting to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with specifications.
• Plan, schedule and prioritize preventative and corrective maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
• Lead, mentor and develop maintenance team members.
• Conduct equipment inspections, troubleshoot issues and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Manage maintenance budgets, optimise resource allocation and coordinate contractors.
• Monitor performance, drive continuous improvement and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC or Carpentry.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising maintenance teams in industrial, mining or facilities management environments.
• Previous FIFO or remote operational experience.
• Strong knowledge of building, mechanical and electrical maintenance systems.
• Proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
