Logistics Engineer – Defence Systems

About the role

The Logistics Engineer will join Saab Australia's Hardware & ILS group to provide Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and logistics engineering for Combat Management System (CMS) and Combat System (CS) solutions. You will work closely with senior logistic engineers and support the delivery of reliable, maintainable defence systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior logistic engineers in planning, managing and executing LSA and logistics engineering activities.
• Conduct RAM modelling, FMECA, RCM, LORA, MTA and spares analysis.
• Review supplier and OEM ILS plans, logistic support data, technical manuals and related documentation.
• Prepare and develop ILS documentation and logistics support plans.
• Provide logistics engineering input to system engineering, hardware design and implementation.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Logistics Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in defence industry logistics practices and standards.
• Strong background in reliability and maintainability engineering.
• Ability to plan, schedule, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility for NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
