Lecturer – Social Work (Adelaide)

About the role

We are seeking passionate and dedicated lecturers to join our Social Work program at our Adelaide campus. The role can be either sessional or full‑time, offering flexible morning, afternoon or evening shifts. You will be responsible for delivering, assessing and developing subject content to support students in achieving strong academic and professional outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver subject material using experiential and authentic learning resources.
• Assess practice‑oriented social work tasks, provide feedback within two weeks, and use the provided AI detection software.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching materials and learning design.
• Facilitate student engagement both on‑campus and via digital platforms.
• Maintain attendance records, monitor engagement and communicate student issues to relevant teams.
• Participate in subject review, moderation and benchmarking activities.

Required profile

• Passionate about delivering high‑quality education in social work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence facilitating both face‑to‑face and online learning environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive academic team.
