Lead Full Stack Developer – Tax & Legal Digital

About the role

As a Lead Developer in PwC's Tax and Legal Digital team, you will help Australian businesses, not‑for‑profit and internal PwC clients create value and improve the way they work through innovative digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build libraries and frameworks to support large, complex web applications.
• Design and implement new user‑facing features for internal and external clients.
• Optimise web applications to maximise speed and scalability.
• Write client‑side code for high‑volume production applications and market‑leading prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with developers, data scientists and business analysts to deliver high‑quality enterprise solutions.

Required profile

• Proven end‑to‑end enterprise software delivery experience with modern web technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop both frontend (ReactJS, NextJS) and backend (NodeJS, NestJS) components.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, DevOps practices and web server optimisation.
• Experience leading development teams and delivering robust, high‑value software.
• Integrity, teamwork and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
