Laundry Shift Leader

About the role

Join the Commercial Laundry Team at Ayers Rock Resort as a Laundry Shift Leader. You will oversee daily laundry operations, guide attendants, and ensure smooth production while living onsite near the iconic Uluru.

Key responsibilities

• Execute start‑up and shutdown procedures for boilers, air compressors and laundry equipment.
• Operate extractor washers, dryers and manage the use of various chemical powders.
• Lead factory and pressing activities, delegating tasks and setting priorities.
• Maintain open communication with other resort departments to meet their laundry needs.
• Provide training for new staff and support employees learning new machinery.

Required profile

• Energetic and passionate leader comfortable supervising a diverse team.
• Ability to step in for upper management and keep operations running smoothly.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial laundry machinery (washers, dryers, extractors).
• Boiler and air‑compressor handling.
• Safe handling of laundry chemicals and powders.
