Kitchen Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Kitchen Attendant plays a vital part in keeping the kitchen at Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour spotless and operating smoothly. Working alongside the culinary brigade, you will ensure all dishware, utensils and work surfaces meet the highest hygiene standards, supporting the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers and manual methods.
• Remove rubbish, sweep and mop kitchen floors, and follow proper chemical sequencing for disinfection.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks such as grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes and seasonings.
• Maintain a tidy and organized work environment at all times.

Required profile

• Practical experience in kitchen operations or cleaning is a plus.
• Enthusiastic "can‑do" attitude with a positive, motivated demeanor.
• Ability to work well within a diverse, fast‑paced team.
• Flexible availability for mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
