About the role

Wickham Primary School is building a pool of qualified teachers for Kindergarten to Year 6 classes. The role may be permanent or fixed‑term and can be full‑time or part‑time, with appointments made as vacancies arise during the 2026 school year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
• Integrate digital technologies to enhance learning experiences.
• Implement positive classroom management strategies and support the school’s Whole‑School Positive Behaviour Support framework.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to foster a safe and inclusive environment.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with registration to teach in Western Australia.
• Demonstrated commitment to high‑quality teaching and continuous professional development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the school’s vision and values.
