IT Security Administrator (TS/SCI + Polygraph)

About the role

The IT Security Administrator will protect information system assets for a government customer in Alice Springs, Australia. This position ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of networks, databases, and web‑based services while complying with DoD security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to identify and remediate security issues.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks.
• Implement and enforce security policies, countermeasures, and mitigating controls.
• Research, evaluate, test, and deploy new security software and devices.
• Investigate security incidents, prepare incident reports, and communicate alerts to relevant agencies.
• Maintain the integrity of networks, systems, and applications through continuous monitoring and technical enforcement.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active Top Secret SCI clearance and polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training, certification(s) or experience.
• At least 1 year of related experience in information technology security, network or system security.
• Current DoD 8570 certification appropriate for the role.
