Guest Service Agent - Part-Time

About the role

Pullman Cairns International, a five-star hotel in the heart of Cairns, is looking for a Guest Service Agent on a part-time basis. As the face of the hotel, you will welcome guests warmly and deliver personalised service from arrival through to departure, working closely with the wider hotel team. The role sits within the Accor network.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and provide personalised service from arrival to departure.
• Manage check-ins, check-outs and guest enquiries professionally.
• Anticipate guest needs and create memorable experiences through thoughtful service.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns quickly and positively.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, local attractions and services.
• Work with Front Office and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain accurate guest information and follow hotel procedures and brand standards.

Required profile

• A warm, friendly and professional approach with a genuine passion for guest service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to stay calm, organised and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and overnight shifts.
• Previous Front Office or hospitality experience is highly regarded, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are also welcome.

Required skills

• Confidence using technology and hotel systems; Opera Cloud experience is highly regarded.
