Guest Service Agent – Luxury Resort

About the role

As a Guest Service Agent at a five‑star resort on the Whitsundays, you will be the first point of contact for guests, handling front‑desk transactions, providing local insights and ensuring every stay is seamless and memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures and process guest payments.
• Respond to guest inquiries, offer recommendations and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate guest records using the Opera property management system.
• Anticipate guest needs and coordinate with other departments to deliver personalized service.
• Uphold brand standards and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
• Minimum one year of experience in a 5‑star front‑desk or guest‑service role.
• CPR, First Aid or similar certifications are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera (property management system) – desirable.
