Grader Operator – Civil Earthworks

About the role

Rokon, a leading civil contractor in Victoria, is seeking a skilled Grader Operator to join its Melbourne team. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will operate and maintain grading equipment on a variety of bulk earthworks projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the grader, preparing and positioning the machine for each task.
• Monitor plant performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Interpret and work from project drawings provided by Site Supervisors and Project Engineers.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and ensure safe operation at all times.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating a grader with final trim capability.
• Recent civil construction experience, especially in bulk earthworks.
• Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate initiative, and follow safety protocols.
• Current driver’s licence and all relevant plant and OHS tickets.
• OH&S White Card and willingness to complete a pre‑employment medical assessment.
