Full‑time Cook for Airport Lounge

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Cook to join the team at our Sydney International Lounge operated by Accor. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, preparing and serving high‑quality food for both à‑la‑carte and buffet service, while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve breakfast buffet items with variety and flair.
• Maintain strict stock rotation and minimise waste following stock‑control procedures.
• Assist in ingredient preparation, including chopping, slicing, dicing and measuring.
• Follow all food‑safety and sanitation protocols.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Wash dishes and ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.
• Report any equipment or operational issues to the CDP and General Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cook in a high‑volume kitchen.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for delivering exceptional food.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Culinary degree or equivalent is an advantage but not essential.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Full working rights in Australia and ability to pass a federal police background check.
