Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Join a product‑focused engineering team building digital platforms for Australia’s media and design community. You will own end‑to‑end feature development across four established media brands, collaborating closely with product, editorial, design and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop full‑stack features using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) with Node.js and Django back‑ends.
• Design, implement and maintain RESTful APIs and optimise SQL database schemas.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain applications on AWS infrastructure.
• Leverage AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) as part of daily development workflow.
• Work closely with the Head of Product to deliver on a stable roadmap and influence technical direction.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑stack development experience with shipped products.
• Proven ability to take ownership and work autonomously.
• Experience in agency or media environments is highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
