Front End Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Front End Engineer to join our Technology team in Sydney. You will design, develop and operate reliable, scalable front‑end systems, working closely with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver high‑quality software for our investing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, performant front‑end features that improve customer experience and drive business outcomes.
• Build and maintain accessible, responsive UIs and front‑end services supporting Stake’s growth.
• Own key front‑end systems and design‑system components, ensuring they run smoothly in production.
• Contribute to front‑end architectural decisions to improve performance, maintainability and developer experience.

Required profile

• Experience building customer‑facing front‑end applications using modern technologies such as TypeScript, Ionic and Angular.
• Strong focus on intuitive, polished user experiences with attention to performance, accessibility and maintainability.
• Pragmatic mindset, able to balance speed, quality and long‑term sustainability.
• Enjoys collaboration with cross‑functional teams and sharing knowledge.
