About the role
We are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our finance team. The role will support month‑end and year‑end closing, manage inventory accounting and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Process and record purchases, intercompany transactions and related costs.
- Manage inventory accounting, lead stock‑takes and reconcile stock movements.
- Execute month‑end and year‑end closing, compute corporate income tax and prepare financial statements.
- Analyse balance‑sheet schedules and produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the regional office.
- Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and prepare ad‑hoc analyses as required.
- Support timely filing of statutory reports (e.g., BIR, SEC) and assist in reviewing internal policies and controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field; CPA qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting or audit, preferably with an audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, financial analysis and internal controls.
- Excellent written and spoken English and strong interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
