About the role
We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to join the Finance team of The Autism Association. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, support audit and compliance, and help improve financial processes in a values‑driven, community‑focused organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Support audit activities and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring and banking relationships.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to financial processes and systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide high‑quality financial information.
Required profile
- CA/CPA or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax compliance and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to analyse data, prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems.
