Finance Operations Officer

About the role

Nova Pharmaceuticals Australasia is seeking a Finance Operations Officer to join its high‑performing finance team in Bella Vista. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will gain broad exposure across finance, payroll and business operations while supporting the company’s growth and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer end‑to‑end payroll processes.
• Support month‑end close activities and prepare related reporting.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations and finance schedules.
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements.
• Maintain finance records, documentation and internal controls.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed.
• Coordinate employee onboarding, off‑boarding and maintain employment documentation.
• Manage leave administration and employee services.
• Coordinate operational vendors and service providers.
• Act as a key link between Finance and other business functions, supporting cross‑functional projects and process standardisation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years’ experience in accounting, finance operations and payroll.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and month‑end processes.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end payroll cycles.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
