Finance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Finance Officer to join our Finance team at Acknowledge Education. In this full‑time position you will support day‑to‑day financial operations across our multi‑campus organisation, ensuring accurate processing of transactions and providing timely financial insights to internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, staff expenses and reimbursements accurately and promptly.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring payments are made within agreed terms.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations, including bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accounts receivable activities such as invoicing and debtor follow‑up.
• Support campus managers and other stakeholders with finance‑related queries and reporting.
• Assist with month‑end processes, reporting and ad‑hoc finance activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for finance processes and systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or similar role within a high‑volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy and excellent time‑management skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, team‑oriented with high professionalism, integrity and accountability.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel.
