Finance Manager ANZ

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially‑minded Finance Manager to lead the finance function for our Australian operations. Reporting to the APAC General Manager and acting as the primary finance liaison for the EU Group CFO, you will own end‑to‑end financial management across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including consolidated APAC reporting.
• Manage P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting for the region.
• Ensure Australian tax and statutory compliance (payroll tax, BAS, FBT, transfer pricing, country‑by‑country reporting).
• Oversee project accounting, milestone billing, progress claims and revenue recognition.
• Maintain internal controls framework and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, sales commission calculations and inventory/3PL coordination.
• Partner with senior leadership on scenario analysis, strategic insight and commercial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller in a mid‑size or larger organisation.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, management reporting, processes, controls and compliance.
• Ability to manage upwards across cultures and navigate corporate reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
