External Auditor

About the role

PwC Australia is looking for experienced External Auditors to join its Assurance practice. The role is based in one of the firm's offices in Australia and sits at manager level. As an External Auditor, you will help clients improve financial performance and operations, understand their commercial issues and deliver a wide range of audit and audit-related services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform external audits, financial statement assessments and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Analyse, identify and resolve complex business issues with effective strategies.
• Work in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.
• Maintain integrity and ethical behaviour, and build trust with clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end audits and delivering statutory reports for large private and listed organisations.
• Ability to shape financial audit strategies and methodologies with cross-functional teams.
• Track record of assessing, designing and documenting control environments.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor junior colleagues.

What we offer

• The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this role is AUD 89,000 including superannuation; higher grades fall within the salary bands for those positions.
