Export Officer (12‑month Parental Leave Contract)

About the role

Covetrus is seeking an Export Officer on a 12‑month parental‑leave contract to support international veterinary clients from our Northgate office in Brisbane. Reporting to the Export Supervisor, you will ensure accurate processing of orders, documentation, and transportation of veterinary pharmaceuticals and consumables.

Key responsibilities

• Process client and sales administration tasks, including order entry, query handling, retention calls, and product recommendations.
• Manage dispatch and documentation, ensuring orders are shipped correctly and all paperwork is completed.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness across all export operations.
• Advise on suitable transportation options, balancing cost and customer preferences.
• Assist the Production Team Leader in resolving queries.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in the veterinary industry, preferably as a Veterinary Nurse.
• Experience in export administration is advantageous but not essential.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and customer‑service focus.
