Engineering Training Implementation Manager

About the role

As the Engineering Training Implementation Manager you will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of engineering training programmes across the Qantas Group, ensuring new aircraft, systems and technologies are introduced safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and govern aircraft type training, entry‑into‑service activities and major system change programmes.
• Act as the Part 147 Responsible Manager, guaranteeing all training materials meet CASA regulatory requirements.
• Partner with engineering leaders, OEMs (Airbus, Boeing) and internal delivery teams to create future‑focused training solutions.
• Drive modernisation and digitisation of engineering training, including computer‑based training platforms.
• Maintain quality, governance and compliance throughout the training lifecycle.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading training implementation or capability programmes in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong working knowledge of CASA Part 147 and Part 66 regulations.
• Proven track record supporting new aircraft, systems or programmes entering service.
• Deep understanding of quality systems, governance and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing complex training systems and CBT platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical and leadership audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management and continuous‑improvement capabilities.
