Enablement Lead, Knowledge Work

About the role

The Enablement Lead, Knowledge Work is a specialist post-sales enablement role focused on delivering high-impact enablement and adoption services across OpenAI's product suite, including ChatGPT Enterprise and Agents. The role blends product fluency, instructional design and customer advisory, and leads live workshops, delivers services and designs adoption interventions for audiences from business users to technical practitioners and executives. It is based in the Sydney office, with a hybrid model of 3 days in the office per week and relocation assistance for new employees.

Key responsibilities

• Own the enablement of OpenAI products, defining enablement patterns that support adoption across business and technical teams in enterprise organizations.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designated product areas, support internal enablement, identify emerging customer use cases and aggregate customer feedback to inform product development.
• Lead customer enablement across the full lifecycle, from onboarding through expansion, optimization and long-term adoption.
• Design and deliver onboarding sessions, advanced trainings, executive briefings, hackathons and hands-on workshops.
• Drive customer activation and sustained usage through structured enablement programs.
• Partner with Sales, Solution Architects and Delivery Leads to drive adoption.
• Develop reusable training assets, playbooks and best practices, and gather and synthesize customer feedback.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in customer-facing, enablement or instructional roles, engaging C-level, business and technical audiences in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, able to explain AI capabilities clearly to senior and executive audiences.
• Experience leading workshops and enablement programs, designing learning journeys and facilitating live sessions.
• Able to identify patterns across customers and connect product capabilities to business outcomes such as productivity, efficiency, cost reduction, risk mitigation or revenue impact.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet in live customer environments and committed to the safe and responsible evolution of AI.
