Educational Leader I - Busy Bees at Chinchilla

About the role

Busy Bees, a global early learning provider with over 130 centres across Australia, is seeking an experienced Educational Leader for its centre in Chinchilla on a full-time basis. The role mentors and supports educators, drives quality practice, supports curriculum development and leads continuous improvement across the service.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and coach educators to strengthen teaching practice and program quality
• Guide implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) across the centre
• Support educators with curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice
• Drive continuous improvement aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF)
• Lead professional discussions and learning opportunities for the team
• Work closely with the Centre Director to support quality outcomes for children

Required profile

• Genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Approved Early Childhood qualification (or working towards)
• Experience mentoring or supporting educators to deliver high-quality programs
• Current Working with Children Check for Queensland

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
• Curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice
