Director, Renewable Energy & CleanTech Solutions – APAC

About the role

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a commercially driven Director to lead renewable and clean‑technology strategy across the APAC region. The role will originate, negotiate and deliver innovative energy solutions that support the rapid expansion of Vantage’s data centre platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long‑term renewable energy and clean‑tech strategy aligned with business growth and energy requirements.
• Originate, structure, negotiate and close complex power purchase agreements, utility supply contracts and strategic partnerships.
• Lead the design and deployment of behind‑the‑meter solutions such as utility‑scale solar, wind, BESS, fuel cells, hydrogen, micro‑grids and on‑site generation to enhance campus resilience.
• Build and manage executive‑level relationships with utilities, regulators, developers and investors across APAC.
• Oversee project delivery from origination through permitting, construction, commissioning and commercial operation.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in renewable energy, power, utilities or related sectors.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale solar, wind and battery storage projects.
• Experience structuring and executing PPAs, behind‑the‑meter connections and on‑site generation contracts.
• Deep knowledge of APAC electricity markets, grid regulations and market dynamics.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
