Design Architect (Sydney)

About the role

An award‑winning architecture practice is looking for a Design Architect to join its Sydney studio. The role focuses on front‑end design, concept development and early‑stage project work across civic, cultural and public‑focused projects.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to concept design and early‑stage project development
• Prepare design presentations, diagrams and visual material
• Support design development across multiple project typologies
• Collaborate closely with senior architects and project teams
• Participate in design workshops, reviews and client presentations
• Assist with planning and coordination during front‑end stages

Required profile

• Relevant architectural qualification (Bachelor or Master of Architecture)
• NSW Registered Architect
• 10+ years of experience within an architectural practice
• Strong front‑end design capability across complex projects
• Experience in an Australian design‑led studio environment
• Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a senior design‑focused environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit
