About the role

Prophix is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Perth team. The role serves as the primary technical authority and executive‑facing advisor for client engagements, translating complex data challenges into scalable analytics solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structured discovery engagements to uncover requirements, assess data ecosystems, and define solution scope aligned with client outcomes.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end ETL pipelines that reliably move data from source to insight.
• Build dynamic dashboards and data visualisations that make complex information accessible to diverse business audiences.
• Develop algorithms and process structures to compute business rules and complex calculations with accuracy.
• Produce clear solution documentation to support client adoption and long‑term maintainability.
• Lead client‑facing engagements with senior executives, guiding technology evaluations, solution design, and delivery.
• Own the full client engagement lifecycle—from scoping through sign‑off—managing timelines, quality standards, and documentation autonomously.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a data‑oriented field (e.g., analytics, statistics, computer science).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate stakeholder needs into actionable designs.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with C‑suite leaders and senior executives.
• Self‑motivated and able to manage a portfolio of billable client engagements with minimal supervision.
