Data Analyst – IT Governance & Administration

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with deep expertise in Excel automation and reporting to support our IT Governance and Administration initiatives. The role is primarily onsite in Adelaide, with a secondary preference for candidates located elsewhere in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain advanced Excel dashboards, reports and data models.
• Automate data‑driven workflows using Power Query, PivotTables, VBA/macros and advanced Excel formulas.
• Analyse large data sets, generate business insights and produce forecasting outputs.
• Ensure data integrity, validation and reporting accuracy across all deliverables.
• Optimise existing spreadsheets and streamline reporting processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Advanced Excel Analyst.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in enterprise‑level Excel automation and reporting.
• Good to have exposure to VBA/macros, Power BI, SQL, SharePoint and Power Automate.

Required skills

• Expert‑level Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Proficiency with XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, LET and LAMBDA functions.
• Hands‑on expertise in Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Experience building automated reporting and dashboard solutions.
