Data Analyst Internship

About the role

This on‑site internship in Australia offers hands‑on experience working with real recruitment datasets. You will support senior analysts, create visual reports, and develop basic predictive models while learning industry‑standard tools.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and preprocess data from databases, spreadsheets and APIs.
• Perform basic statistical analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Create dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI or Tableau and present findings to stakeholders.
• Write simple SQL queries to extract and manipulate data and maintain database records.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and support decision‑making.
• Document data processes, methodologies and maintain analysis archives.
• Stay updated on data‑analysis tools, automate reports with Python or Excel macros, and assist in real‑time data monitoring.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a quantitative degree (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Commerce, etc.).
• Legal right to work in Australia and availability to work on‑site for the internship duration.
• Strong attention to data quality, ability to follow documentation standards, and eagerness to learn enterprise data workflows.
