Crane and Rigging Supervisor

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Crane and Rigging Supervisor to lead rigging and lifting activities on the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant project in Perth. You will ensure all lifts are performed safely, in compliance with approved plans, and support the delivery of this critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate rigging and lifting activities across the Alkimos site.
• Supervise rigging crews and manage subcontractor performance.
• Allocate crane and plant resources to meet program demands.
• Enforce compliance with lift plans, standards, and site procedures.
• Resolve operational issues with engineers and site leadership.
• Monitor quality and safety, addressing non‑conformities promptly.
• Document re‑planning and communicate current plans to the team.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience as a foreman or supervisor in construction.
• Proven mechanical construction experience on Tier 1 projects.
• Trade qualification relevant to construction or manufacturing.
• Certificate IV in Construction Supervision (desirable).
• Familiarity with ISO standards and Western Australian infrastructure regulations.
