Construction Foreman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Foreman with a carpentry background to lead a $5M high‑end residential new‑build project adjacent to Centennial Park. You will work closely with the Project Manager to drive programme, quality and subcontractor coordination on a premium construction site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations from groundworks through to handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site labour to meet programme and quality targets.
• Deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Supervise high‑end finishes and detailed architectural elements.
• Oversee heritage façade retention and structural interface works.
• Ensure compliance with WHS regulations, building codes and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality‑control checks at all construction stages.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, engineers and project managers.
• Maintain accurate site records, reporting and procurement schedules.
• Foster a professional, organised and safety‑focused site culture.

Required profile

• Trade‑qualified carpenter with strong hands‑on construction knowledge.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman on luxury residential new builds.
• Experience delivering projects valued up to $5 million.
• Exposure to heritage restoration or façade retention projects (highly regarded).
• Strong understanding of high‑end finishes and residential construction sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• White Card and relevant site‑safety certifications.
• Current driver’s licence.
